my harsh experience with the cyber crime wing of FIA is that it is only for big companies who can pay good to the lawyer and who have nothing on stake as an individual or the complainant must be some one with some strong background otherwise he will be very much disappointed by approaching the wing because of following reasons:
- first of all very few people know how and where to lodge complaint against any cyber crime.
- if by chance he is able to get there, he will not be entertained more than by taking his application from the reception which can be rejected from the reception on ground of that it is not their jurisdiction.
- lastly if they keep his application even then he will have to make many rounds for making the application as an FIR.
frankly speaking i think no individual who is a layman can go and approach this wing of FIA and make his complaint as FIR. very rare chances for any such happening.
